THE PROJECT
Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries Company LLC (OQ8) is a pioneering joint venture between Oman’s OQ Group and Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI).

Located in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm (SEZAD), this enterprise signifies a major step forward in the Gulf region's energy sector. With a robust refining capacity of 230,000 barrels per day, OQ8 boosts Oman’s total refining capabilities to over half a million barrels daily, underscoring its role as a leader in technological innovation and environmental sustainability. This facility is equipped with advanced hydrocarbon processing and coking units, setting new standards in economic viability and operational efficiency.

THE BRIEF
PREMIER3D was approached and was commissioned to prepare two interactive 1:2500scale models for presentation purposes in the Muscat and DUQM Offices. The models demonstrate through an interactive IPAD the major features of the facility, how products are produced and distributed.
